LONDON, Dec 6 (Alliance News): David Beckham recently attended a state banquet at Buckingham Palace with his wife, Victoria Beckham, to honor the Emir of Qatar.
Following the event, Beckham shared heartfelt news, paying tribute to Kath Phipps, Manchester United’s beloved receptionist, who passed away at age 85.
In a touching social media post, Beckham recalled Kath as “the first and last face I would always see” when he visited Old Trafford.
He described her as the “heartbeat of Manchester United,” adored by everyone who knew her. Beckham added that Kath, who had promised to look after him when he moved to Manchester at age 15, kept that promise throughout his time at the club.
“Old Trafford will never be the same without your smile as we walk through those doors… We love you,” Beckham concluded his tribute.
