Princess Anne Reportedly Regrets Denying Royal Titles to Her Children

LONDON, Jan 17 (Alliance News): Princess Anne, sister of King Charles III, reportedly regrets her decision to refuse royal titles for her children, Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips, nearly five decades ago.

According to Radar Online, Anne had declined the offer for her children to be granted titles, prioritizing a duty-free lifestyle for them. However, sources cited by the outlet claim Anne now believes the decision may have been a mistake.

Reportedly, Princess Anne has expressed hope that King Charles will grant Zara Tindall the title of princess during his reign. The claims surfaced alongside reports of King Charles’ cancer diagnosis, which allegedly prompted a reevaluation of their roles within the royal family.

An insider was quoted as saying, “For the first time, all of them, especially Anne, began questioning the decision. Having Zara and Peter in official roles could have significantly supported the family over the past year.”

The source added that while Anne’s children have enjoyed freedom to pursue their interests, the monarch’s health concerns have sparked a sense of responsibility among them. Princess Anne has reportedly approached King Charles to consider granting Zara a princess title.
