Los Angeles Forest Fire Devastates Thousands, Sparks Mass Evacuations

LOS ANGELES, Jan 15 (Alliance News): The devastating forest fire in Los Angeles has worsened, fueled by strong winds, leaving more than 40,000 acres scorched and 12,300 buildings reduced to ashes. The catastrophe has claimed 25 lives, with 30 people still missing.

Authorities estimate the initial damage at $275 billion. The fire has also reached northwestern Ventura County, causing widespread power outages impacting thousands of households.

In response to the rapidly deteriorating situation, officials have ordered the evacuation of an additional 84,000 people. Rescue teams and law enforcement have been deployed to assist with the evacuation process and ensure public safety.

Three individuals have been arrested on suspicion of starting the blaze, according to American media.
