UAE-India Partnership to Launch First Large-Scale Virtual Hospital in MENA and Asia Pacific

DUBAI, Dec 10 (Alliance News): Malik International from the UAE and India’s Ajanta DY Patil Group have formed a historic partnership to acquire stakes in Malik Medical Healthcare, creating an equal partnership aimed at establishing the region’s first large-scale virtual hospital with a network of over 20,000 doctors.

The venture involves a combined investment of Dh100 million, targeting healthcare advancements in the Middle East, North Africa (MENA), and Asia Pacific. This strategic alliance aims to revolutionize healthcare delivery by utilizing virtual solutions to extend services and enhance accessibility for millions.

Dr. Nawab Shafiul Mulk, Founder and President of Malik Medical Healthcare, highlighted the transformative potential of the partnership, stating, “Our partnership and shared vision with DY Patil Group signify a landmark agreement showcasing our commitment to innovation and inclusivity in healthcare.”

The new initiative, the Malik Medical Virtual Hospital Ecosystem, is already active in countries like Zimbabwe and Papua New Guinea, with further expansions underway. Supported by the Malik Medical app and video conferencing tools, this platform offers 24/7 telehealth, free delivery of subsidized medicines, smart ambulances, mobile clinics, and around-the-clock home care services in over 170 countries.

Malik International Chairman Shajiul Mulk affirmed the group’s dedication to fostering sustainable and inclusive growth. “Our global investment reflects our commitment to driving meaningful social change,” he said.
