ICC Issues Arrest Warrants for Netanyahu, Gallant, and Deif

THE HAGUE, Nov 22 (Alliance News): The International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, and Mohammed Deif, the leader of Hamas’ military wing, Al-Qassam Brigades, accusing them of war crimes.

The warrants stem from a request made by the ICC’s chief prosecutor earlier this year, which specifically highlighted war crimes committed during the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

Since October 7, Israeli military actions have led to the deaths of over 44,000 Palestinians, with more than 104,000 injured, according to reports from Gaza.

The arrest warrants further escalate international calls for accountability for actions in the Gaza Strip amid ongoing hostilities.
