Israeli Attacks in Lebanon Kill Hezbollah Leader; Hezbollah Retaliates

BEIRUT, Nov 18 (Alliance News): Israeli forces launched 145 attacks in Lebanon in a single day, targeting civilians and Hezbollah positions, including airstrikes on Dahiya and Ras al-Ban in Beirut.
The strikes destroyed multiple buildings and claimed the life of Hezbollah spokesperson Muhammad Afif, a former Director General of Al-Manar TV.

This marks Israel’s fourth attack on Beirut’s city limits since 2006, with recent weeks witnessing intensified assaults on its suburbs. Muhammad Afif was martyred at Hezbollah’s headquarters during the strikes.

In retaliation, Hezbollah fired 80 missiles at Israeli military bases in Haifa, destroying a tank and killing an Israeli soldier.

Additionally, two bombs were dropped near Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s residence, though he and his family were not present.

Israeli Defense Minister expressed outrage, stating that the attack on the Prime Minister’s residence crossed all limits. However, it remains unconfirmed if Hezbollah was responsible for this specific attack.
