US Denies Link Between Imran Khan’s Release and Donald Trump’s Election Win

Washington, Oct 31 (Alliance News): US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller dismissed claims linking the potential release of PTI founder Imran Khan to a Donald Trump election victory.

Responding to a journalist’s question regarding PTI leader Latif Khosa’s statement about Khan’s release being tied to Trump’s success in the US election, Miller stated, “That is not true.”

Miller clarified that the legal proceedings against Imran Khan remain solely within the jurisdiction of Pakistani courts, reaffirming that the US has no involvement in Pakistan’s internal legal matters.

“We have reiterated multiple times that America has no role in the removal of PTI’s founder,” Miller added.

The statement aims to dispel rumors of foreign influence on Pakistan’s judicial process amid ongoing legal challenges faced by the former Pakistani prime minister.
