Beirut: Hezbollah Leader Hashim Safiuddin Martyred in Israeli Attack

BEIRUT, Oct 05 (Alliance News): Israel has confirmed the martyrdom of Hashim Safiuddin, Hezbollah’s second most important leader, in an attack on the suburbs of Beirut on Thursday evening.

According to a statement from the Israeli army spokesperson, Safiuddin, along with several others, was killed during the assault.

The attack also targeted Hezbollah’s communications head, Mohammad Rashid Skafi. Israeli media reported that the strike was more severe than a previous one aimed at Hezbollah’s leader, Hassan Nasrallah.

It was reported that no survivors were expected due to the intensity of the attack, which caused either asphyxiation or the collapse of the bunker where the leaders were present.

Hashim Safiuddin was a prominent figure within Hezbollah, recognized as the second most significant leader in the organization.
