The Islamic Republic has indicated that its response to Israeli “aggression” will be decisive and forceful.
Reacting to these reports, a White House spokesperson warned Iran against any retaliatory actions and reiterated that the United States would fully support Israel in the event of an Iranian response.
“If Iran chooses to respond, the United States will stand to defend Israel,” stated the spokesperson.
The current tensions follow a series of escalations between the two nations. On October 26, Israel reportedly launched a missile strike against Iran in response to an alleged Iranian attack on October 1, which led to the confirmed loss of four Iranian soldiers.
