Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi Visits Beirut Amid Israeli Strikes

Beirut, Oct 4 (Alliance News): Despite ongoing Israeli airstrikes, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi arrived in Beirut, marking the first senior Iranian official’s visit to Lebanon since the death of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.

Amid heavy Israeli bombardment, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi landed at Beirut’s Rafiq Hariri International Airport, signaling Iran’s continued diplomatic engagement with Lebanon.

This visit follows the recent martyrdom of Hezbollah’s leader Hassan Nasrallah, making it a significant moment in the region’s political landscape.

Lebanese security sources reported that Israeli forces targeted Hezbollah-affiliated aid workers in southern Beirut, resulting in injuries to three workers.

The attack is part of Israel’s ongoing military operations against Hezbollah-linked figures and installations in Lebanon.

Last night, Israel launched a large-scale strike in Beirut, targeting Hashim Safiullah, who is expected to take leadership of Hezbollah. The exact outcome of this operation remains unclear.

Tensions in the region have escalated as Israeli forces intensify their strikes, raising concerns about further destabilization in Lebanon, while Iranian officials continue their diplomatic outreach.
