Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu Takes Shelter in Bunkers Amid Iranian Missile Attacks

Tel Aviv, Oct 2 (Alliance News): Israeli media reports reveal that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sought refuge in underground bunkers during a barrage of ballistic missile attacks launched by Iran last night.

According to V-Channel 13, sirens blared throughout Israel as Iranian missiles crossed the border, prompting Netanyahu and several members of his cabinet to retreat to underground shelters for safety.

They remained in these bunkers for several hours, emerging only after Iran announced the completion of its missile attacks.

After leaving the secure location, Netanyahu condemned Iran’s actions, stating, “Iran has made a serious mistake for which it will have to pay the price.”

The missile strikes involved over 200 projectiles aimed at various targets within Israel, resulting in casualties among Israeli soldiers.

The events underscore the escalating tensions between Israel and Iran, raising concerns about the potential for further conflict in the region.
