Harris, whose campaign has energized Democrats after President Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the race, is now locked in a tight battle with Trump, a formidable political opponent known for his aggressive rhetoric.
After Biden’s poor debate performance in June and his subsequent decision to end his reelection bid, Harris restored hope for the Democratic party by bringing swing states back into contention. However, despite unifying her party and polling neck-and-neck with Trump, Harris has not yet solidified a clear path to victory.
