Report Claims Israel Could Attack Iran’s Nuclear Facilities

WASHINGTON, Feb 14 (Alliance News): An American newspaper has reported that Israel may launch an attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities by mid-2025, potentially setting back Tehran’s nuclear program by weeks or months and escalating regional tensions.

According to US intelligence assessments, Israel could target Iran’s Fordow and Natanz nuclear sites.

Neither the White House nor the Israeli government commented on the report. However, Iranian President Masoud Peshmerga dismissed the possibility of any lasting damage, stating that while an attack on nuclear facilities might be possible, Iran’s nuclear capabilities remain intact.

The development comes amid recent remarks by former US President Donald Trump, who suggested that he would prefer a nuclear deal with Iran over military action.

In an interview, Trump stated that a deal could prevent an Israeli strike, while adding that he could not disclose further details of US policy toward Iran.
