Saudi Arabia Grants Investor Residency to 1,238 International Investors

RIYADH, Nov 28 (Alliance News): Saudi Arabia has granted investor residency to 1,238 international investors, announced Minister of Investment Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih at the 28th World Investment Conference held in Riyadh from November 25 to 27, 2024.

The initiative, unveiled during the global investment platform, is part of Saudi Arabia’s strategy to attract foreign investments and foster economic growth under Vision 2030.

The move aims to strengthen the economy, create job opportunities, and enhance the national workforce’s skills.

“Investor residency is a pivotal tool for promoting foreign investment. It provides convenience to investors, enabling them to tap into the kingdom’s abundant opportunities,” said Al-Falih.

The Saudi Arabia Special Residency Center offers seven types of residency, including talent, investor, and business residencies, as well as options for property ownership, fixed-term, and indefinite residencies.

These residency holders gain the right to live, do business, and own property in the kingdom, alongside several other benefits.

This initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia’s broader ambition to establish itself as a global investment hub and attract diverse talent and capital from around the world.
