US stance on Pakistan’s Ballistic Missile Program Amidst Regional Tensions

Washington, Sep 18 (Alliance News): The United States has reaffirmed its position regarding Pakistan’s ballistic missile program, emphasizing its long-standing partnership with Pakistan while maintaining its stance against the missile program.
During a press briefing, US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller underscored that the US remains committed to strengthening the global non-proliferation system and addressing networks involved in the proliferation of dangerous weapons.

Key Statements:

“We have been clear and consistent about our concerns regarding Pakistan’s ballistic missile program for many years,” Miller stated.

“We will continue to use our sanctions and other measures to ensure that our national security is not compromised.”
