Washington, Sep 18 (Alliance News): The United States has reaffirmed its position regarding Pakistan’s ballistic missile program, emphasizing its long-standing partnership with Pakistan while maintaining its stance against the missile program.
During a press briefing, US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller underscored that the US remains committed to strengthening the global non-proliferation system and addressing networks involved in the proliferation of dangerous weapons.

“We have been clear and consistent about our concerns regarding Pakistan’s ballistic missile program for many years,” Miller stated.
“We will continue to use our sanctions and other measures to ensure that our national security is not compromised.”
He reiterated that while Pakistan is a significant partner, the US’s stance on the ballistic missile issue remains firm.
US Involvement in Pager Blasts:
In a separate development, Miller noted that the US is monitoring the situation surrounding recent pager blasts in Lebanon but has not yet determined the perpetrators.
The US has expressed interest in investigating the explosions, which targeted Hezbollah members and resulted in numerous casualties.
