Beirut, Oct 29 (Alliance News): The Lebanese resistance organization Hezbollah has named Sheikh Naeem Qasim as its new leader following the reported martyrdom of its former leader, Hassan Nasrallah.
Initially, Sheikh Naeem Qasim assumed a temporary role after Nasrallah’s death, now formally leading the group.
According to the Israeli military, Nasrallah was killed in a bombing in Beirut, Lebanon’s capital, a claim later confirmed by Hezbollah, which vowed to continue its stance against Israel.
In an official statement, Hezbollah reaffirmed its commitment to support Gaza and Palestine, emphasizing its ongoing resistance in defense of Lebanon and its citizens.
